Home Sales Rose in October - FOMO For Many Buyers

Sales of homes nationally has continues on a tear as multiple offers and sharp bidding continue to push home prices higher. In October 2021 homes were 13% more expensive.

Sales of existing homes were 5.8% lower than compared to one year ago. Total homes sales through October 2021 were 6.34 million units.

Nationally, sales of homes under $250,000 fell 24% while sales of homes $750,000 to $1 million rose 25%. Sales of homes over $1 million was up 31%.

Locally, Livermore, CA home sales reached an average sales price of $1,107,074 with an average days on market of 14.

Pleasanton, CA home sales reached an average sales price of $1,645,110 with an average days on market of 15.
