- Sales of existing single-family homes rose 0.8% in October to a rate of 6.34 million units nation wide.
- 1.25 million homes were available at the end of October, 12% lower than Oct 2020.

Sales of homes nationally has continues on a tear as multiple offers and sharp bidding continue to push home prices higher. In October 2021 homes were 13% more expensive.
Sales of existing homes were 5.8% lower than compared to one year ago. Total homes sales through October 2021 were 6.34 million units.
Nationally, sales of homes under $250,000 fell 24% while sales of homes $750,000 to $1 million rose 25%. Sales of homes over $1 million was up 31%.
